Welcome back to Staten News — where hindsight is 20/20, and so is your regret if your team drafted a bust in the top 10.

The NFL Draft is part science, part vibes, and part "why did we ever pass on that guy?" In this redraft, we're rewriting the top 10 picks from the last five draft classes based on how players have actually performed — not how hyped they were on ESPN.

Let’s play fantasy GM and fix some past mistakes.

2024 NFL Redraft – Top 10

1. Chicago Bears – Caleb Williams, QB
   Still the #1 pick, Williams showed poise and promise as the Bears' franchise centerpiece despite a shaky offensive line.

2. Washington Commanders – Jayden Daniels, QB
   Daniels' electric dual-threat impact made him an immediate star and a perfect scheme fit in Washington.

3. New England Patriots – Drake Maye, QB
   Maye stays at 3 as New England builds patiently around a strong-arm, developmental signal-caller with flashes of brilliance.

4. Arizona Cardinals – Marvin Harrison Jr., WR
   No regrets here — Harrison looked like a future WR1 from Day 1 with elite route-running and hands.

5. Los Angeles Chargers – Malik Nabers, WR
   With Keenan Allen aging and Mike Williams gone, Nabers’ explosive rookie year (1,100+ yards) would give Herbert a dynamic new weapon.

6. New York Giants – Rome Odunze, WR
   Odunze brought physicality and contested catch dominance the Giants desperately lacked on the outside.

7. Tennessee Titans – Joe Alt, OT
   Alt stays in the top 10 as a franchise left tackle who impressed with immediate pass-pro consistency in a tough AFC South.

8. Atlanta Falcons – Laiatu Latu, EDGE
   Latu’s polished pass-rushing moves and 10-sack debut would've added much-needed juice to Atlanta’s pedestrian defense.

9. Chicago Bears (via CAR) – Terrion Arnold, CB
   Arnold's lockdown coverage and toughness made him one of the top rookie corners — a great complement opposite Jaylon Johnson.

10. New York Jets – Olu Fashanu, OT
    With a shaky O-line and Rodgers recovering, Fashanu’s upside as a long-term blindside protector beats the short-term Band-Aids they applied.
